My hubby and I would recommend the Elm Lodge to couples wanting a break away. This is ideal for relaxing, especially in the fantastic Jacuzzi bath which was out of this world!! The remote control moonlighting was brilliant and so relaxing, we could of stayed in there the whole weekend!! The value for money is excellent and the owners so nice and helpful! This was our second visit and won't be our last! Don't forget your towels!!

This lodge was exactly what I asked for, peaceful, full of natural views and very very relaxing. We stayed in the Elm which was perfect for couples especially the spa bath and mood lighting. We booked very last minute and all was ready for us. If you are looking for a peaceful romantic retreat, this is highly recommended.

Great location for visiting places like York, Whitby and Durham, as well as the numerous villages and tourist spots locally. Lots of walking opportunities and beautiful scenery.

The area is great, the site is a country site and the accommodation is superb. The double jacuzzi bath with mood lighting was fab.

It was a beautiful log cabin with everything you would want. It had all the mod cons of home but in the relaxing setting of a beautiful park.
